Our Story

Wyvern Fields is 20.04 acres on the edge of Sparkford, South Somerset (Wolfester Paddock, BA22 7HY), next to Sparkford Copse. Bought October 2018 as one improved-grass field with hedges on three sides. Temporary planning in May 2022 allowed three agricultural-tied dwellings (holdings 4.5–10.4 acres), a barn, track and off-grid power. ELC keeps about 1.5 acres on the Copse boundary. Plot split: 10.43 / 4.53 / 4.57 acres. Stewards have included Off-grid Organics, a cider-apple nursery (Cider Apple Trees), and a farm-to-fork business. A shared timber barn with solar PV is in use. Open-gate days have been held for the village.
