Sadhana Forest, near Auroville, Tamil Nadu. Started 2003. About 70 acres of Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest restoration, water conservation, volunteer village (1,000+ volunteers/year from 50+ countries historically). Separate from Auroville membership: you volunteer here; you do not automatically become an Aurovilian.
