Our Story
Maesgwyn Isaf is a 67-acre former dairy farm at Llanboidy, Carmarthenshire, gifted into the Ecological Land Cooperative / Trust. Pasture, woodland and existing farm buildings — a whole-farm site, so most dwellings already exist and do not need a bare-field planning fight. Site managers have been restoring land and the farmhouse. Multiple plots were opened to steward applicants (Earth’s Farm and Coed Aceso are named in ELC reporting). The gift model is meant to let new entrants rent a holding without buying a 150-year lease with their savings. Applications go through the ELC information sheet for MGI, not through a private sale.
